Starting again...and again…

I don’t know how many times I’ve started the same thing 100 times for it to finally become part of my daily routine. I don’t know why something sticks at a certain time, but if you keep trying, you will succeed. I believe that the more challenging something is and the more determined you are to make it part of your life, when it lands, it stays for good!

The hardest spiritual practice I felt I had to ‘master’ is daily spiritual practice with God.  Nothing elaborate, or that is time-consuming, or any such nonsense.   I wanted to read, be silent, listen to music, and visualize God coming forth in my life.  Having a relationship, deep in listening and waiting for a revelation or sign, on the next steps.

Once I got over the feeling that I had to do it, or had it had to look a certain way, I felt free and had fewer restraints on how it should look or how it should be.  I think what got me over the hump from a daily to-do to a part of my day, was the fact that I just asked prayers for me to be open and receptive to what I was hearing from my higher self. Having no strategy, time commitment, or any other goals on this quest proved to be very effective in my family affairs

Now, I feel that without this practice of centering and just breathing in space to experience life more, I feel in greater ease, fulfillment, and purpose throughout my day. I simply feel in alignment with myself, not working from the outside but solidifying my purpose from the inside out and seeing how things shift all around me.
